Cornucopia Years is about a pair of childhood best friends trying to build lives that meet and exceed expectations laid out by parents and the Drift Nation to which they belong. Cicada is finishing his studies as a journalist, but finding that in the corporate controlled city-state, to get a real story he has to dig deeper into places the company doesn't want him to go. Joáo is blooming into the body guard his techie parents always dreamed of, but is drawn to a less violent life where his real passions might flourish. The Drift makes it almost impossible for Cicada and Joáo to find independence, it's only together that they might find escape.

Cornucopia is an arcology located in the Southern Atlantic Ocean between Brasil and Namibia. It is where Cicada, a journalist finishing university, and Joáo, a reluctant edgerunner, live and breathe. The story is set around 2045, and takes inspiration from the Cyberpunk (TTRPG) universe.

The Cornucopia Years are the years when Cicada and Joáo must commit to the relationship they have built, while also dealing with lives made difficult by the techno-corpo future.

This is a pet project of mine, and the fist comic I've ever fully dedicated to making - mostly just so I can practise comic writing and drawing, so that I can make better comics in the future. The chapters may look different at times as I experiment with brushes and styles.
